J
Silent Tribute is
our first halter bred horse. We were lucky
enough to meet The Cassatas at the Tulsa
State Fair and ask them if they had a stud
colt for sale. This is the colt they
showed us. It was love at first sight. He
won the late colt Tovo, North Carolina,
Georgia, Just for Halter, Dixie Rose
Classic, and Pinto International
futurities. He was second in a Pinto
futurity at Oklahoma City and third in the
Landrush. All together he won over $10,000
as a weanling. He made 21 points in the
two Pinto shows he was in as a baby. So at
the first Pinto show we took him to as a
yearling he made 16 open and 4 amateur
points, so we had his register of merit
already. He stood Reserve grand to a 5
year old at that show. At his next Pinto
show he made 22 amateur points and stood
Grand Champion in open. In Paint he has
his ROM in halter and been Grand Champion
6 times and Reserve Grand 6 times. We
decided to breed Silent Tribute lightly as
a 2 yr.old and we are looking forward to 8
foals in 2006.
